'We Are Different'

As much as the Russians claim it all the time, especially in advertising industry, I'm really sorry to say that Russians are not different. Or, in that case, each country, each culture, each history is different.

The only thing that may annoy them is the communication brought by international brands without any sense of local understanding (it may be the guilt of shitty agencies over here). Tell me if this brand of cigarette took the time to go on Internet to understand what Moscow looked like in the winter before posting that in the metro.

We are all different. Some of us are bloody stupid.

Bienvenue chez les...

Non, ils l'ont pas fait quand même. Merde, comment c'est possible. En gardant les mêmes acteurs, le même décor à priori, la même histoire. Tu crois que ça va marcher. S' ils sont aussi cons qu'en France, je pense que oui. Et c'est le cas. Et puis finalement, ils aiment Louis de Funès et Pierre Richard (des icônes ici...). Du coup, on ne peut pas leur en vouloir. Mais alors la traduction. Déjà pour le titre, tout un programme.

Le titre veut dire 'Bienvenue' avec des mots écorchés qui, du coup, expriment d'autres choses. Bref, le traducteur a dû faire l'équilibriste pour adapter le film de l'année 'Bienvenue chez les Ch'tis' en russe. Un vrai tour de force.
